Flaunt is a user-centric, personalized e-commerce platform designed to transform the online shopping experience for health and beauty enthusiasts.
As the Lead Product Designer and Product Owner, I drove the research, ideation, design, and the dev handoff to craft an intuitive and trust-building shopping journey.
Problem
In a crowded digital marketplace, merely selling products isn’t enough.
We needed to create a platform that fostered trust and long-term engagement with users.
Mission
The goal was to build a platform that personalized the shopping journey.
Solution
We adopted an Agile Scrum methodology, progressing through iterative cycles with continuous feedback from cross-functional teams.
This allowed us to remain flexible, implement changes rapidly, and ensure the platform met user needs at every stage.

Research Insights

Through surveys and user feedback, we discovered that influencer endorsements and personalized recommendations were key drivers of trust and purchase decisions.
💡 Actionable Takeaway: Influencer credibility & personalization became our core design strategy.
I would be more inclined to purchase products if they were endorsed by influencers I trusted.

Challenges
The main challenge was crafting a seamless user journey, ensuring users could explore products, select items, and proceed to checkout with minimal friction. Balancing visual appeal with functionality and responsiveness across various devices added another layer of complexity. However, the team’s collaborative effort allowed us to maintain a smooth and consistent experience.
Outcome

🌟 Successfully launched Flaunt, receiving praise for its innovative features and user-centric design, which elevated the shopping experience.

Key Learnings

This project reinforced the value of collaboration and flexibility in design. By working closely with cross-functional teams and being open to feedback, we were able to continuously refine and improve the platform’s user experience. The iterative process also taught me the importance of user-centric focus and how agile methodologies can drive successful product outcomes.
